The 2004 Texas textbook adoption is the first one for enrichment courses in nearly a decade. This is an exciting time for educators teaching enrichment courses such as music, theatre, choir, band, health, and foreign languages. The new instructional materials are aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards developed for enrichment subjects in Texas and are designed to support and enhance concepts of core subjects.
